Esther Passaris Demands Full Investigation into the Death of TikToker Milly wa Doc
The untimely death of popular TikToker Milly wa Doc has sparked national outcry, prompting Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris to call for an in-depth and transparent investigation. Passaris urged the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to thoroughly examine the circumstances surrounding Milly’s passing and ensure that no detail is overlooked.
In an emotional statement, Passaris expressed deep concern over the incident, stating that the nature of Milly’s death raised serious questions that must be urgently addressed. Milly’s family revealed that she died on June 3 after undergoing surgery to remove a cyst, which reportedly led to severe complications, including excessive bleeding and kidney failure.
“The Directorate of Criminal Investigations must leave no stone unturned. I also call on Chief Government Pathologist Dr. Johansen Oduor to take a leading role in ensuring a credible forensic examination,” Passaris urged.
The MP also called attention to online allegations against Milly’s ex-husband, who is said to be a licensed medical practitioner. She appealed to the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC) to investigate the matter, citing potential abuse of office and failure in duty of care.
“I urge KMPDC to urgently look into the troubling allegations surrounding her partner. This matter goes beyond personal tragedy and touches on public trust in our healthcare system,” she stated.
While extending her heartfelt condolences to Milly’s family, especially her children, Passaris emphasized the importance of justice and accountability.
“I am deeply saddened by the passing of Milly wa Doc. My thoughts and prayers are with her family, her children, and the many fans who found strength and inspiration in her honest and fearless voice,” said Passaris.
Milly, the eldest of eight siblings, grew up in a humble home in Nakuru. She had a strong presence on TikTok, where her authentic and relatable content earned her a loyal following. Her fans admired her for her openness and courage in sharing her life experiences.
