UDA appearing Secretary General Cleophas Malala has claimed the Party’s Facebook web page has been hacked.
Malala in a video visible with the aid of the Star Friday stated the celebration has been hacked by a known man or woman who he said isn’t always a member of the secretariat.
“I want to announce that our conversation platform, that is our respectable UDA Facebook web page, has been hacked,” he said.
“We have made report to Facebook directors that our account has been hacked. Anything you notice posted on the web page have to be left out.”
He exuded self assurance that the birthday celebration could in due direction recover the account at the same time as he entreated contributors of the public to stay calm over the problem.
But President William Ruto’s digital strategist Dennis Itumbi has but denied the claims and said the UDA party’s social media pages are secure.
“The United Democratic Alliance, @UDAKenya, Pages are safe across Social Media to ignore each person saying some thing to the opposite,” Itumbi tweeted.
The verbal exchange through Malala got here after he clashed with the National Elections Board over the fame of constituency elections in West Pokot.
While Malala had announced the elections were suspended, NEB chairperson Anthony Mwaura dismissed his conversation saying he has no powers to suspend polls.
