President William Ruto has launched a Lipa Polepole initiative under the Social Health Authority (SHA) to help Kenyans in the informal sector make affordable insurance contributions.
Speaking at the 62nd Madaraka Day celebrations in Homa Bay, Ruto declared that Kenyans would now have the option to pay their yearly premiums in instalments or through a flexible payment plan.
“To tackle ongoing challenges like irregular premium payments, particularly within the informal sector, the Kenyan government is rolling out an inclusive payment option called Lipa SHA Polepole,” President Ruto stated.
The Head of State explained that this new approach will allow families to pay their contributions in manageable installments, according to what suits them best.
