Eddie Butita is one of those few celebrities we understand started off from the ground up building a career as a top content creator thanks to his creative mind and for years, many continue to depend on him when it comes down to well written scripts.
With that said, Eddie Butita’s creative mind saw him gain favor in the eyes of Kenyan leaders hence giving him an opportunity to work alongside – a move he never thought would cost him in future.
Well as revealed online, Butita recently faced lots of criticism following his silence on ongoing protests against the Finance Bill. Having appeared to sit on the wall, Gen Z are said to have threatened on pulling the cancel culture on the creative writer making him lose a few followers on social media.
However on June 23rd, Butita finally gave his stand on the finance bill which he rejected saying he believes the bill is not okay and has submitted his concerns to the state – seeing that he is a common citizen and businessman.
‘DO NOT CRUCIFY HIM’ NJUGUSH AND ABEL ON BUTITA
Having shared this online, Njugush and Abel Mutua quickly joined in welcoming him to the ‘right’ side now that it’s evident Gen Z have refused to be part of Kenya’s problem – seeing how greedy these leaders are.
Abel throw his X account applauded Butita for making the right choice and went on to explain that he was not to blame for bagging big deals with the govt – hence not a good reason to be unfollowed or criticized online.
On Tuesday we will be one soldier heavier. Karibu streets @eddiebutita. Makosa yako sio kuingia serikali. for change to happen we need to influence from withing. Adding;
Hapo kwa kuchelewa kureject ndio wananchi walikubembeleza kiasi. but we are good now. Tukutane Tuesday.
Njugush on the other hand joked with his friend Butita and at the same time appreciated him for acknowledging something the Gen Z have been pushing for in the past few days following the finance Bill 2024.
This is a warning to @eddiebutita to never shave again. 2. I know guys with huge social media influence have been shying away from political related issues (mostly informed by the audience) however issues touching on peoples lives have since stopped being political and everyone should be able to pronounce themselves for a better Nation. So with that said, Butita Tuesday kuja na maji na duster….na nini ingine numesahau? Njugush wrote.
