Edwin Sifuna, the Secretary General of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), has presented three key demands to President William Ruto in response to the growing tensions between Kenya and Tanzania.
In a social media statement made on Wednesday, Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna urged that all members of Tanzania’s ruling Chama Cha Maendeleo (CCM) Party be barred from entering Kenya.
Secondly, he asked that Kenya withdraw from the joint hosting of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) with both Uganda and Tanzania, whom he termed as dictatorial.
Finally, Sifuna called for the relocation of the East Africa Law Society (EALS) annual conference from Zanzibar to a different venue.
